On Hope: A Digital Song Cycle
Presented at The Other Palace (West End)
William contributed music to the On Hope song cycle.
Launched by MPTheatricals and The Other Palace, on hope: a digital song cycle explored the spectrum of sounds, experiences, and perspectives of hope. Among those to have contributed material are Rob Rokicki (The Lightning Thief), Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion), and Vikki Stone (#zoologicalsociety). Bringing the songs to life in a new digital musical theatre experience will be a team of performers, choreographers, arrangers, animators and editor. The trilogy was live streamed on The Other Palace’s YouTube channel on April 29 and May 6 at 7:30 PM, London time. On hope: a digital song cycle is directed by Matt Powell, with dramaturgy by Victoria Saxton.

Creativity Isn't Cancelled
Digital Song Cycle
William was Musical Director and contributed music to the Creativity Isn't Cancelled Song cycle. A lot has been canceled in 2020. From classes, to gigs, to entire Broadway productions. But one thing a global pandemic cannot cancel? Creativity! Thus “Creativity Is Not Canceled” was born.
The song cycle, hosted by comedian and writer Erica Molfetto, features original music videos, song previews and interviews with cast members including: Dylan Adler (New York Comedy Festival), Julia Aks (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., John Wick III), Shayna Blass (Broad City), Dahlak Brathwaite (HBO’s Def Poetry Jam), Holly Curran (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fear the Walking Dead), Gabriella Ortega (NBC Nosotros Monologue Slam), Raquel Palmas (Baby Wants Candy) and DeAnne Stewart (Jagged Little Pill).

Brunch: The Musical
Brunch! The Musical tells the story of kooky kitchen staff as they attempt to navigate their lives while staying on top of the weekend rush. The newest employee Jonas must try to fit in among an apathetic sous-chef, a womanizing line-cook, a heartthrob of a waitress, an insufferable health inspector, and an angry chef with a sad past. The soundtrack features 100% original compositions with vibrant Latin rhythms and melodies.
“The result is a fun, energized musical outing, which thanks to the live band and orchestral supervision of William Karras, will check the boxes for many musical aficionados.” –The Coast

The Roswell Incident
A one act electroacoustic opera counting the tale of two alien's discovery of musical inequity, and their quest to bring enlightenment to the poor humbams populating earth. The Roswell Incident was a fun attempt at uniting a bunch of things I loved: musical theatre, sci-fi, contemporary music, Electroacoustic Music, surround sound, songs, Max Blitzstein, Pierre Schaeffer and mostly: good laughs. The program notes speak for themselve.
