Talking about myself in 3rd person

William is an award-winning composer, musical director and arranger/producer who’s had works featured and performed off-broadway, off-off-broadway, on West-End and internationally. He is mostly known for writing the music to “Brunch: The Musical”, which was produced in Montreal and toured the Atlantic Canada. The showʼs music was praised by critics and audiences and received the support of both the CALQ and SOCAN for itʼs creation. 

More recently, he contributed music to Creativity Isn’t Cancelled (song cycle), “On Hope: a Digital Song Cycle”, which was presented by The Other Palace (West End) and Rattlestick theatre’s Village Songs. Music Direction credits include Heathers, Next Thing You Know, Legally Blond, and working with Playerʼs Theatre (Montreal) for the development of new works. William completed his B.Mus at McGill University, where he most notably studied and worked with drummer/composer John Hollenbeck, and is currently completing an MFA at New York University. 

School Stuff

William completed his B.Mus at McGill University where he focused on Composition and Jazz Drums. He studied and worked primarly with grammy-nominated drummer and composer John Hollenbeck, who influenced him in crossing musical and artistic boundaries. He now pursues the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing MFA at New York University’s Tisch School Of The Arts as a composer.
